ZOOM WEB CONFERENCING
Zoom is a powerful web-conferencing tool that allows faculty to communicate with colleagues or deliver course content in real-time or via recording. It is built specifically for live, multi-media-rich, online collaboration, and provides faculty with a virtual classroom for conferencing and lectures.
In June 2018, Zoom replaced Collaborate as SFA's campus-wide solution for web-conferencing. It is integrated into D2L but can also be used independently of D2L.
All SFA faculty, students, and staff can access and use Zoom by going to this URL: sfasu.zoom.us. Once there, click the Sign In button and use your mySFA credentials to log in.

The CTL is offering workshops this summer with information on how to use Zoom both outside and inside D2L, including best practices for using Zoom for lecture capture and web conferencing.
