The 2015 Teaching Showcase was held April 22 at 2 p.m. in the BPSC Multimedia Room.
What is the Teaching Showcase?
The Teaching Showcase provides faculty, staff, and teaching assistants the opportunity to share best practices, recognize colleagues’ innovative teaching methods, and hold cross-disciplinary conversations to create better learning opportunities for students. This event will be held annually.
Who presented in 2015?
For the 2015 Teaching Showcase, the Center for Teaching & Learning received approximately three times the number of proposals expected. The ten faculty who presented were: Adam Akerson (Elementary Education), CC Conn (Theater), Randi Cox (History), Casey Hart (Mass Communications), Phillip Madison (Mass Communications), Brad Meyer (Music), Volha Minich (Biology), Chay Runnels (Human Sciences), Louise Stoehr (Languages, Cultures, and Communications), and Theresa Tkacik (Human Sciences).
I missed the Teaching Showcase and would love to have been present. How can I view the presentations and/or contact a presenter?
The Center for Teaching & Learning is happy to provide contact information, presentation materials, and video of each presenter.
