WRITE ON WEDNESDAYS (WoW)
All faculty are invited to participate in our Write on Wednesdays (WoW) initiative.
This new initiative encourages faculty to choose at least a one-hour block of time each Wednesday and commit to spending that hour engaged in scholarly writing. The hour and location of writing are the faculty member’s choice, but the challenge is to consistently dedicate that time to scholarly writing. Then, WoW participants are invited to join their peers on
Wednesdays at 1 p.m. in Room 208 of Steen Library to visit with each other, discuss writing projects and progress, and enjoy snacks provided by the Center for Teaching & Learning. No commitment is required, though faculty are asked to complete the registration form below.
The WoW initiative will begin Wednesday, February 10 at 1 p.m. in Room 208 of Steen Library (which is Faculty Consultants' office in the Center for Teaching & Learning). Faculty are invited to attend any or all meetings. Again, no commitment is required. Meetings will be held:
The WoW initiative is led by Dr. Carolyn Stufft, CTL Faculty Consultant and faculty member in the James I. Perkins College of Education.
